Before the idiot in the SL, I saw three interesting cars.

First being a new S550.

Looked exactly like this. Still not a fan of the looks. And those wheels make it look really low-rent.

Then I saw an M235i.

First 2-Series I've ever seen in person. Best of all it was exactly how I'd order mine, black over red leather.

And finally, my personal favorite, a new CTS.

Not a big fan of the white, but it does look good in person with those wheels. N/A V6 as far as I could tell from the engine note. Looks better than the S-Class IMO.

I find it hard to believe how much Mercedes wants with something with those shit wheels. Makes it look like a Euro model base C-Class from like 2009.

I deeply concur. Every single one of the blobby things just doesn't look (I've said this phrase about 100 times this week) classy or stately.

Which one would you rather have?

Base Audi A8 for $77,400.

Or a base S-Class for $95,325

I'll take the Audi any day of the week, and I'm not even channeling my fanboyism on this one.

Having been in and driven both, S for sure. And I really don't like the looks of Audi. Inside or outside.
